With a history of involvement in various elements of fitness as an aerobics instructor, swimming coach and triathlete and more recently with the completion of a Cert III in Fitness, I have a genuine commitment to improving the health and fitness of individuals across a range of areas. Living in an isolated area of Queensland I found it challenging to maintain a good level of fitness with so many difficulties relating to lifestyle and location. Whilst out running on a rocky dirt road in steamy conditions my thoughts drifted to how difficult it is for people to motivate themselves to exercise in this environment and hence an idea was born. It is my goal to lift the spirits and fitness levels of people in isolated locations by showing them ways to beat the elements and feel empowered.
